There are Italian restaurants that people like to recommend for a nice dinner - and there is the "Hostaria del Monte Croce", which makes you want to move in straight away. Well hidden in a second courtyard, the restaurant is still one of Kreuzberg's insider tips more than thirty years after it opened. The family-style brick remise alone is worth a visit, as it transports you straight to the land of lemons in bloom. The tables are served a monthly changing 8-course menu with everything or vegetarian and including wine, water, coffee and digestivo. The former can be poured into your glass from a rustic wooden barrel. Mamma mia!
During the lockdown, we offer weekly changing four-course menus to go at the weekends.
