The Berlin-based company KOS-tea is a direct importer of teas. By tea we mean the infusion of the leaves of the "Camellia sinensis", the actual "green tea plant". Often the plants are very different due to different breeds and cultivation areas. Nevertheless, Japanese Sencha, Gyokuro or Matcha as well as Taiwanese red tea, Oolong or Chinese PuEhr are all made from the same parent plant. We are constantly looking for new and high quality teas. Our focus is on teas from controlled organic cultivation. For us it is important not to spoil such a healthy and traditional drink by pollutants from fertilization or plant protection. Due to the strict German guidelines in the organic sector, we are subject to constant and multi-layered control and monitoring. Since we ourselves select the teas in the countries of origin and are in direct contact with the exporters, we know exactly where they come from and what the fields or processing plants look like. The range of teas we offer is constantly changing and expanding as a result of our efforts to always seek the best for our customers. Our offer is aimed at both end consumers and retailers.
