Since 2015, wirBERLIN has been calling on Berlin children to share their thoughts for the future of our city and our environment with an annual poster competition. In the last years of the competition, more than 6,200 posters have been created, sometimes colorful, sometimes gray, often confident and always honest. They all emphasize the urgency to finally change something.
If we ask the youngest members of our society, they already have clear ideas about environmental pollution, climate change and the associated consequences. The poster design motivates the children to creatively exchange ideas and turns them into environmental ambassadors for the world of tomorrow, so the poster competition has become a permanent fixture at many Berlin educational institutions and in the private sphere.
But to make the poster competition possible in the future, we need your help, in the form of financial support. This will enable us to organize materials, prizes and multimedia exhibitions to show the artworks to a broad public. Learn more about the project at: https://wir-berlin.org/plakatwettbewerb/
