Dear Friends of the Neighborhood,
We are the Le family, Mama Ly and Papa Tuan and our three daughters Nocky, Jenny and Nhung. Together we run your new Vietnamese family restaurant in the Kiez, the "Dong Da" restaurant.
Originally we come from a completely different neighborhood - namely from the "Dong Da" neighborhood in Hanoi Vietnam, from which our restaurant got its name. In this old neighborhood in Hanoi/Vietnam, our family ran a small Pho restaurant for a very long time. Pho - that is a delicious 5-spice broth with rice ribbon noodles. It is, so to speak, the unofficial national dish of Vietnam. Now we would like to bring the traditional delicacies from our neighborhood in Vietnam to you in the Kaskelkiez. It is cooked according to an old family recipe that has been handed down. Thus, the refinement of the authentic North Vietnamese cuisine is preserved. This is considered particularly delicious, simple and pure. It is especially important to give the natural flavors of the products and the fresh ingredients enough space to develop. But just come and see for yourself! The restaurant itself we have rebuilt and furnished together as a family. Many elements typical of our homeland have found a place here: Tin roof, cone hat, even the blue front door and door frame are things you would also find in Vietnam. Our varied menu is complemented by changing daily specials.
